It opens on a pour of rum warmed with myrrh and olibanum, threaded through with saffron, coriander, and a bright cut of orange and lime. The heart turns dense and gourmand, toasted barley, bitter coffee, ripe plum, and frangipani tangled with narcissus, wild artemisia, and rose. It settles into a base built for staying power: rich Madagascar vanilla wrapped in suede and tobacco, grounded by mahogany, patchouli, oakmoss, and a final hush of violet.
