The florist's shop is closing for the night, buckets of stems being carried in from the sidewalk, when the last breath of tea drifts out from somewhere behind the counter, bergamot cutting bright against it, osmanthus trailing soft and apricot-sweet like the flowers haven't noticed the lights going down.

That opening settles fast, and what rises next is an entire greenhouse at once, orchid, jasmine, and rose crowding in together, freesia keeping them light, african orange flower giving the whole bouquet its citrus-white glow. It's a floral without a single quiet moment, generous almost to excess. Underneath, patchouli turns earthen and dark, musk smooths the edges, and vanilla settles in last, warm and a little sugared, so the bloom never quite goes cold.

Wear it for the version of yourself who doesn't do subtle, dinners that run late, a coat left on the back of the chair, someone leaning in to ask what you're wearing. Fall and winter nights suit it best, when the air outside is cold enough to make the warmth underneath feel earned.

Opens with a gentle radiance and softens into a 6-8 hour skin-close wear. Hand-poured in small batches in Richardson, TX as an Extrait de Parfum, 30% fragrance oils versus the 15-20% typical of an Eau de Parfum, so a little goes a long way.
