The full fragrance story
Iris is the whole argument here, cool and floury and slightly cosmetic, and it does not soften for anyone.
Lavender opens clean and herbal. Then the iris arrives properly, with ambrette lending a warm skin-musk and pear putting a thin sweetness on top so it never turns austere. Virginia cedar and vetiver carry the base, dry and upright, close to the shirt rather than the room.
