The full fragrance story
Black licorice, which is not where most perfumes begin, and it sets the tone for everything after.
Black licorice leads, anise-dark and chewy, with fougassette adding a warm bakery softness under pink pepper and cardamom. The heart turns floral and sun-warmed: gardenia, Madagascar ylang-ylang and Egyptian jasmine stacked thick. Cacao, musk and Ambrocenide finish it, dry cocoa over a base that projects hard and lasts.
Cold nights out. Best on someone who likes being asked about it and has an answer ready.
Hand-poured in small batches in Richardson, TX as an Extrait de Parfum with 30% fragrance oils versus the 15-20% typical of an Eau de Parfum, so a little goes a long way. Reach for it on gala nights, boardroom power moves, and any evening that calls for polish. Made for our Fall selection.
