The candle's already guttering low by the time she leans back into the velvet, plum syrup on her wrist, freesia lifting off warm skin, and something ancient stirring underneath that hasn't shown itself yet.

It opens on plum and freesia, sweet and green at once, before tuberose uncurls petal by petal against cashmere wood and a low ember of oud. Amber gathers the two into one smoldering thread. Then the base settles, Madagascar vanilla laid thick over labdanum's resinous hush, dark, edible, and slow to let go.

Poured for the ones who run cold weather warm, worn to dinners that stretch past midnight, on skin someone else will lean in to smell. Fall and winter belong to this one; so does anyone unafraid of a scent with a little gravity.

Fills a room early, then holds warm against the skin across an 8-10 hour wear. Hand-poured in small batches in Richardson, TX as an Extrait de Parfum, 30% fragrance oils versus the 15-20% typical of an Eau de Parfum, so a little goes a long way.
