A cabin in January, wet wool drying on a chair, and chestnuts left too long on the grate.

Cloves and pink pepper spark first, dry and smoky, with a thin sweetness from orange blossom behind them. Chestnut roasts in the middle over guaiac wood and a resinous snap of juniper, which is where the burning-log illusion actually happens. Vanilla, Peru balsam and cashmeran soften everything into warm ash and skin.

Deep winter, cold hands, indoor evenings. It is a comfort scent that still has smoke in it.

Fills a room early, then holds warm against the skin across an 8-10 hour wear. Hand-poured in small batches in Richardson, TX as an Extrait de Parfum with 30% fragrance oils versus the 15-20% typical of an Eau de Parfum, so a little goes a long way.
