The top comes down before you've decided where you're driving, and mandarin orange hits first, bright, unhurried, already halfway to summer. Somewhere between the coast road and the parking lot, pear settles in behind it, soft and a little green.

Mandarin orange and pear open the scent with an easy, sun-warmed brightness, the kind that reads more like a mood than a fragrance. Ambrette moves in at the heart, powdery and skin-close, smoothing the citrus into something quieter and more intimate. As the hours pass, benzoin and musk settle underneath, warm, faintly sweet, the trail that lingers on a sweater long after the day's over.
